Marianne Schmid Mast is Full Professor of Organizational Behavior at the University of Lausanne and Dean of HEC Lausanne. A former member of the Swiss National Research Council and past president of the Swiss Psychological Society, she is a fellow of the Society of Personality and Social Psychology and of the American Psychological Association (Division 8).
Her research focuses on interpersonal behaviour at work, including nonverbal behaviour, first impressions, power and leadership, and interpersonal communication. In 2018, 2019 and 2020, she was named one of the 50 most influential living psychologists.
