Joachim Marti is Associate Professor at Unisanté, University of Lausanne, where he heads the health economics sector and co-directs the Lausanne Centre for Health Economics. An economist by training, he specialised in the evaluation of health programmes and technologies during a postdoctoral stay at Yale University, then held academic positions in England.
His work assesses the efficiency of new interventions and treatments using quasi-experimental methods.
