Lecturer
James Spencer teaches public speaking to Executive MBA students and theatre skills to managers at HEC Lausanne, and rhetoric at the Geneva School of Diplomacy. He founded Company What If…?, the first English-language theatre project based in Lausanne, and also coaches privately.
He previously performed on regional stages in the United States, including the American Repertory Theatre, and taught voice and acting at Emerson College and Holy Cross. He holds an MFA in Acting from the Institute for Advanced Theatre Training (American Repertory Theatre/MXAT, Harvard University) and a BA in Politics, Economics, Rhetoric and Law from the University of Chicago.
