Full Professor of Finance, HEC Lausanne, and Swiss Finance Institute Senior Chair

Amit Goyal is Professor of Finance at the University of Lausanne, which he joined in 2008, and holds a Swiss Finance Institute Senior Chair. He previously taught at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, and holds a PhD in finance from UCLA’s Anderson School, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.

His research, published in the top finance journals and featured in the international press, examines asset pricing, investment strategies and market efficiency around the world.
